- Roofing shingles and underlayment
- Concrete and masonry (10-yard containers only — weight limits apply)
- Furniture and appliances (refrigerators need freon removed)
- Yard waste (branches, brush, sod)
- General household junk and cleanout materials
- Metal and scrap
What You CANNOT Put in a Dumpster
Certain materials are prohibited by state and federal regulations. Do not place these in your dumpster:
- Hazardous waste (paint, solvents, chemicals, pesticides)
- Asbestos-containing materials
- Tires (more than 4 per load)
- Batteries (car batteries, lithium batteries)
- Propane tanks or other pressurized containers
- Medical waste

Tips for Loading Your Dumpster
Load heavy items first and distribute weight evenly. Don't overfill — materials must stay below the top rail. Mixing heavy concrete with light debris is fine as long as you stay within the weight limit.
